Annie currently resides in Seattle, Washington. In her most recent professional role, she served at Sound Generations, a Seattle-based nonprofit, as their Digital Communications Specialist.
During her time there, she updated and designed the refresh overhaul for the organization's main website, taking into account user needs, stakeholders, and branding. In addition to this, she managed and created content for social media, reported on analytics to support organization strategy, designed and created branded graphics and materials for digital and print collateral, and supported fundraising.
Annie graduated with her BA degree from Washington State University of Vancouver in May 2019, with a major in Digital Technology and Culture and a minor in Communications. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, and during her studies, she focused on web and mobile design and development. She also completed her certificate in UX & Visual Interface Design from University of Washington in Seattle in June 2021.
For software, she uses Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe XD, Figma, Mural, G Suite, and Office 365. She is always learning new skills or programs to help further her in the design space. Her passion in design has led her to pivot towards a career in the UX/UI field. Her skills include user research, user interface, usability design, web design, mobile design, graphic design, wireframing, prototyping, video editing, and motion graphics.
Annie is always looking to grow her skills, both professional and personal. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, petting her cats, and playing video games over a call with friends.
